I'm vegan, and I feel so strong about being so, and so saddened by societies treatment of animals and sea-creatures alike. I feel hope as more and more people are educated on this subject, and less and less animals are murdered.

VEGAN CHEESE CAKE O_O

Cheesecake itself

  • containers plain tofutti vegan cream cheese
  • 23; cup sugar
  • teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • tablespoon extra firm tofu , drained

Graham cracker crust

  • 8 graham crackers
  • tablespoons earth balance spread

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix vegan cream-cheese up in a blender or foodprocessor. Warming the vegan creamcheese helps in softening.
3. Add the sugar, lemon juice, salt, water, and tofu.
4. Blend until thoroughly processed.
5. Mash up gramcrackers into a crust like substance and combine with the margarine
6. Line a pie pan with a light coat of earthbalance margarine, and line the pan with crumbs.
7. Add the vegan creamcheese filling to the crumb lining and bake 45 minutes
8. Allow to cool for 2 hours in the refrigerator
